This is a fanlisting for the relationship between Logan (a.k.a. Wolverine/James Howlett) and Jubilation "Jubilee" Lee from the X-Men series. [x]

A fanlisting is a site that lists *all* fans of a particular subject. Very little is required, so it's an easy way to show support.

* ABOUT
Logan: Better known as Wolverine, Logan is constantly plagued with a tumultuous life. He is a man with a vague sense of who he truly is and hardly any recollection of his past -- the readers, however, do know. Logan calls very few people friends, but those he does he is fiercely loyal to.

Jubilee: Jubilation Lee never lets anything or anyone keep her down for too long. Having once come from a life of privilege and prestige, she learns quickly how to take care of herself when it all falls apart on her. Jubes uses her sarcasm as a way to protect herself from the strange twists and turns her life takes. Like Logan, it takes Jubilee a long time before she can fully trust someone , but once she does, she protects her own.

Relationship: It all started back during the time the X-Men spent in the Australian Outback. Jubilee found herself hiding out at the X-Men base, and runs into a crucified Wolverine. She helps him escape the Reavers (the ones who did that to him) and nurses him back to health, thus saving his life. From that moment on, the two of them form a tight knit partnership. The colors of one of her very first outfits also provides a bit of commentary on the direction of their relationship. It's also interesting to note that many years later, Jubilee finds herself in the same predicament that Wolverine was in when they first met.

In X-Men: The Animated Series, their relationship starts off considerably different. When Jubilee first meets Logan, she believes that he is unjustly attacking Gambit -- whom is the first X-Man to befriend her -- and *paffs* him. Soon enough, however, she weasles her way into Logan's soft side and they become extremely close. She even manages to get him to go shopping with her. ;)

I chose the title lifeline because I think it is an appropriate way to have once described their relationship to one another. When Logan goes to visit an old friend of his, Rose, she inquires over who the youngster -- Jubilee -- is. He replies, �Lifeline. Without her, I wouldn't be here. Without her...I won't be goin' on."

My first exposure into the X-Men world was through the Wolverine series. I fell in love with the relationship between Logan and Jubilee, and have been hooked ever since. They're partners, mentor and student, best friends, and so much more. The last several years have separated them, each one headed off in different directions, but there still remains a special place in their lives for the other. Hopefully, some writer will rekindle (in depth) the dynamics of their relationship.

Wanted to work with yellow and blue since it was two colors their outfits shared at one time or another; for some odd reason it wound up being pastel -- sort of reminds me of bubble gum or cotton candy. *_* Eh.
