A fanlisting is a site that lists *all* fans of a particular subject. Very little is required, so it's an easy way to show support.

Banana Fish is 19 volumes in length + 1 spin-off volume created by Akimi Yoshida. It ran in Japan from 1985 to 1994, and has been translated into english by Viz.
Viz has published all 19 volumes, which have been released in their original right-to-left format.

Action, adventure, intrigue, mystery, romance, sabotage, mafias, gunfights, revenge -- Banana Fish has all of that and more. Captivating from the start, readers are introduced to dynamic characters in an intriguingly crafted plot. Yoshida is able to implement so many different angles into the storyline without it becoming overwhelming.

It all starts with the mysterious drug 'Banana Fish'; named after JD Salinger's short story, A Perfect Day for Bananafish (found in Nine Stories ISBN 0316769509). A small vial of the drug finds its way into the hands of young Ash Lynx, someone who has quite a bit invested in finding out exactly what and whom is behind the drug. Along the way he meets Eiji who becomes much like a lifeline to him. He is also aided by his faithful gang members (& new ones), a Vietnam vet (and his on again, off again wife), a Japanese photographer, a couple of honest cops, and an old mentor. And so the adventure begins. Definitely worth checking out!

A word or two...or three: Poor Ash! Don't think he would be too pleased with all this orange -- too pumkin-y. *_* It was meant to be a combination of orange and grey, but the orange seems to have dominated. Sorry Ash! ;_;
Anyway, main images were scanned from volume 14 & 15. Fonts are Georgia, Impact, and Silkscreen.
